An (A geolocation enabled) Atlantic marker trail set to launch in December 2022 at the AfriCaribbean Festival, will include both physical and digital historical markers at key locations around the Atlantic that represent connected African histories and symbolism.
Each marker has a smart panel is embedded with QR codes to connect the public to online environments that provide historical context and data to the User.
The Marker Trail will include several replicas of Historical Markers that will be installed in Africa, the U.S., the Caribbean, and Canada.
